After whitening, the remaining unknown is an orthogonal matrix A~ ((3.2)). Suppose we can compute, from the data alone, a symmetric matrix of the form M=A~ΛA~⊤ with Λ diagonal. This is an eigendecomposition: if the diagonal entries of Λ are distinct, the eigenvectors of M are the columns of A~, up to sign and order, and U=A~⊤ separates the sources. No iteration, contrast function or step size is needed. The covariance of z is useless for this purpose, since it equals I, but two other families of statistics have exactly this structure: matrices built from fourth-order cumulants, which are informative when the sources are non-Gaussian, and lagged covariance matrices, which are informative when the sources are correlated in time.
A single such matrix is fragile: two equal or nearly equal eigenvalues make its eigenvectors undetermined or badly estimated. Using many matrices at once and finding the one rotation that diagonalizes all of them, approximately, removes the fragility. This chapter develops that idea twice: with cumulant matrices it gives FOBI and JADE (Cardoso, 1989; Cardoso & Souloumiac, 1993), with lagged covariances AMUSE and SOBI (Tong et al., 1990; Belouchrani et al., 1997). The common computational tool is the Jacobi method for joint diagonalization (Cardoso & Souloumiac, 1996).
For zero-mean variables the fourth-order cumulant is cum(zi,zj,zk,zl)=E[zizjzkzl]−E[zizj]E[zkzl]−E[zizk]E[zjzl]−E[zizl]E[zjzk] (Definition 2.7定义 2.7); for whitened data the last three terms are δijδkl+δikδjl+δilδjk. The n4 numbers cum(zi,zj,zk,zl) form a symmetric tensor, the cumulant tensor of z. Under the ICA model it has a very simple form.
To see this, write zi=∑pa~ipsp and expand by multilinearity: cum(zi,zj,zk,zl)=∑p,q,r,ua~ipa~jqa~kra~lucum(sp,sq,sr,su). A cross-cumulant of independent variables vanishes unless all four arguments are the same variable (Proposition 2.8命题 2.8), so only p=q=r=u survives, with cum(sp,sp,sp,sp)=κp. In tensor language, the cumulant tensor is ∑pκpa~p⊗a~p⊗a~p⊗a~p with orthonormal vectors a~p: it is diagonal in the source basis, and ICA of whitened data amounts to an orthogonal decomposition of a symmetric fourth-order tensor (Section A.5第 A.5 节; the non-orthogonal case returns in Section 12.4第 12.4 节). Only (4n+3) of the entries are distinct, for example 715 for n=10.
(c) On the space of symmetric matrices with the inner product ⟨B,C⟩=tr(B⊤C), the linear map M↦Qz(M) is self-adjoint, with eigenmatrices a~pa~p⊤ and eigenvalues κp, p=1,…,n; all its other eigenvalues are zero.
(a) Substituting (9.1), [Qz(M)]ij=∑pκpa~ipa~jp∑kla~kpmkla~lp=∑pκp(a~p⊤Ma~p)a~ipa~jp. (b) Contract the definition of the cumulant with mkl: the moment term gives E[zizjz⊤Mz] and the three products of Kronecker deltas give δijtrM, mij and mji. (c) By (a), Qz(M)=∑pκp⟨a~pa~p⊤,M⟩a~pa~p⊤. The matrices a~pa~p⊤ are orthonormal, because ⟨a~pa~p⊤,a~qa~q⊤⟩=(a~p⊤a~q)2=δpq, so this is a spectral decomposition, and the map vanishes on their orthogonal complement.
Formula (b) is how cumulant matrices are estimated: replace E by a sample average over whitened data. We checked (a) and (b) to machine precision on discrete sources for which every expectation can be computed exactly, including a skewed one; symmetry of the sources is not needed.
FOBI. The simplest choice is M=I. Since a~p⊤a~p=1, part (a) gives Qz(I)=A~diag(κ1,…,κn)A~⊤, and part (b) gives Qz(I)=E[∥z∥2zz⊤]−(n+2)I. The eigenvectors of the weighted covariance E[∥z∥2zz⊤] therefore separate the sources whenever their kurtoses are distinct. This is FOBI, for fourth-order blind identification (Cardoso, 1989): one weighted covariance and one eigendecomposition. Its weakness is the distinctness requirement: two Laplace sources, or two sources of the same type in general, cannot be separated by FOBI (Exercise 9.1习题 9.1).
Let Q1,…,QK be symmetric matrices that, in the model, all have the form Qr=A~ΛrA~⊤ with diagonal Λr=diag(λr1,…,λrn). With estimated matrices no single rotation makes all of them exactly diagonal, so we minimize the off-diagonal energy
where off(B) is B with its diagonal set to zero. Since ∥UQrU⊤∥F=∥Qr∥F, minimizing C is the same as maximizing the diagonal energy ∑r∥diag(UQrU⊤)∥2. In the model the minimum is zero, and the next lemma says when it is attained only at the right rotation.
Lemma 9.2 (uniqueness of joint diagonalization)
Let Qr=A~ΛrA~⊤, r=1,…,K, with A~ orthogonal and Λr diagonal. Suppose that for every pair p=q there is an r with λrp=λrq. Then every orthogonal U for which all UQrU⊤ are diagonal satisfies UA~= signed permutation matrix. Conversely, if λrp=λrq for all r and some pair p=q, then a continuum of orthogonal matrices, which are not signed permutations of A~⊤, diagonalize all Qr.
设 Qr=A~ΛrA~⊤,r=1,…,K,其中 A~ 为正交矩阵,Λr 为对角阵。
Proof.证明
Let B=UA~, which is orthogonal, and Dr=UQrU⊤=BΛrB⊤, diagonal by assumption. Then BΛr=DrB, that is, bijλrj=dr,ibij for all i,j,r. If a row i of B had two nonzero entries bij and bil, then λrj=dr,i=λrl for all r, contradicting the assumption. So each row has at most one nonzero entry; as B is invertible it has exactly one, which is ±1 because the rows have unit norm, and the nonzero entries lie in different columns. For the converse, let G be any rotation acting only on coordinates p and q. The (p,q) block of Λr is a multiple of the 2×2 identity, so GΛrG⊤=Λr, and U=G⊤A~⊤ diagonalizes every Qr.
于是 BΛr=DrB,即对所有 i,j,r 有 bijλrj=dr,ibij。若 B 的某一行 i 有两个非零元 bij 和 bil,则对所有 r 有 λrj=dr,i=λrl,与假设矛盾。
Jacobi rotations. The Jacobi method minimizes C by a sequence of plane rotations. A sweep visits every pair p<q once; for each pair it applies Qr←R⊤QrR to all matrices and U←R⊤U, where R=Rpq(θ) is the identity except for Rpp=Rqq=cosθ, Rpq=−sinθ and Rqp=sinθ. Sweeps are repeated until all angles are negligible. The point of the method is that the best angle for a pair has a closed form. Write αr=[Qr]pp−[Qr]qq and βr=2[Qr]pq. A direct computation on the (p,q) block shows that the rotation acts on these two numbers as
where primes denote values after the rotation. The other off-diagonal entries in rows and columns p and q are rotated in pairs, ([Qr]pk,[Qr]qk) for k=p,q, which preserves their sum of squares, and all remaining entries are unchanged. So the rotation affects C only through the two entries in positions (p,q) and (q,p), whose contribution is 21∑rβr′2. Write hr=(αr,βr)⊤ and v=(cos2θ,sin2θ)⊤. Because ∥hr∥ is invariant, 21∑rβr′2=21∑r(∥hr∥2−(hr⊤v)2), and the best angle maximizes v⊤Gv with G=∑rhrhr⊤: v is the leading eigenvector of the 2×2 matrix G. Since v⊤Gv=21(g11+g22)+21(g11−g22)cos4θ+g12sin4θ, the optimal angle in (−π/4,π/4] is
the real case of the formula of Cardoso and Souloumiac (1996), whose version also covers complex matrices. For a single matrix it reduces to the classical Jacobi angle tan2θ=β/α=2[Q]pq/([Q]pp−[Q]qq) (Exercise 9.4习题 9.4). Each rotation minimizes C exactly over its plane, so C never increases. We compared (9.3) with a brute-force search over 20001 angles for 200 random sets of symmetric matrices: the closed form was never beaten, and the angles agreed to within the grid spacing. Figure 9.1图 9.1(b) shows the criterion of one pair as a function of θ: a constant minus a sinusoid of period π/2, minimized at θ⋆. In practice a few sweeps suffice. With exactly jointly diagonalizable matrices the decrease is very fast (in a test with n=6 and K=5, C went from 20 to 10−13 in three sweeps); with estimated matrices C levels off after two or three sweeps at a value set by the sampling error.
JADE, for joint approximate diagonalization of eigenmatrices (Cardoso & Souloumiac, 1993), applies the Jacobi method to cumulant matrices. Let Qkl=Qz(ekel⊤), so that [Qkl]ij=cum(zi,zj,zk,zl); these n2 matrices contain the whole cumulant tensor. The joint-diagonality criterion of this set is itself a function of the output cumulants.
Under the ICA model its maximum over orthogonal U is ∑pκp2, attained exactly by the rotations that jointly diagonalize all cumulant matrices. These include every separating rotation, and if at most one source has zero kurtosis they are the only ones.
By multilinearity, [UQklU⊤]ii=∑a,buiauibcum(za,zb,zk,zl)=cum(yi,yi,zk,zl). For fixed i, the matrix with entries cum(yi,yi,zk,zl) becomes the matrix with entries cum(yi,yi,yk,yl) when multiplied by U on the left and U⊤ on the right, which preserves the Frobenius norm; summing over i gives (9.4). Next, ∑kl∥UQklU⊤∥F2=∑ijklcum(zi,zj,zk,zl)2, which by (9.1) equals ∑p,qκpκq(a~p⊤a~q)4=∑pκp2. Hence the criterion equals ∑pκp2−∑kl∥off(UQklU⊤)∥F2, with maximum ∑pκp2 exactly when U diagonalizes every Qkl, or equivalently, by linearity, every Qz(M). Separating rotations do so by Proposition 9.1命题 9.1. For uniqueness apply Lemma 9.2引理 9.2 to the family of all Qz(M): for M=a~pa~p⊤ the eigenvalues are κp for source p and 0 for every other source, so every pair containing a source with nonzero kurtosis is distinguished.
The terms with k=l=i in (9.4) form Comon's contrast ∑ikurt(yi)2 (Comon, 1994; Chapter 5第 5 章); JADE adds the cross-cumulants cum(yi,yi,yk,yl) with (k,l)=(i,i). Both are maximized by the separating rotations; the extra terms are what turn the problem into joint diagonalization, with its closed-form Jacobi angles. Cardoso (1999) discusses the relations among these fourth-order contrasts. Two refinements make JADE practical. First, by part (c) of Proposition 9.1命题 9.1, the linear map M↦Qz(M) has eigenpairs (λr,Mr), and the left side of (9.4) equals ∑rλr2∥diag(UMrU⊤)∥2 (Exercise 9.5习题 9.5). In the model only n eigenvalues are nonzero, so JADE jointly diagonalizes the n weighted eigenmatricesλrMr with the largest ∣λr∣ instead of n2 matrices; this is the "eigenmatrices" of its name. Second, the Jacobi updates touch only two rows and two columns of each matrix.
Center and whiten the data, z(t)=Vx(t), reducing to n dimensions by PCA if m>n.
Estimate the cumulant matrices Qkl from part (b) of Proposition 9.1命题 9.1 with sample averages; optionally replace them by the n most significant weighted eigenmatrices λrMr.
Find the orthogonal U that jointly diagonalizes these matrices by Jacobi sweeps with the angle (9.3), until all angles fall below a threshold.
The following implementation favours clarity: it forms the full cumulant tensor with einsum, uses all n2 matrices Qkl, and rotates whole matrices. It is applied to a uniform, a Laplace and a binary source.

JADE needs no initialization and no step size, and its Jacobi sweeps are deterministic and few; its weakness is cost. Storing the n2 cumulant matrices takes n4 numbers (6.25×106 for n=50, 108 for n=100), and estimating them takes of the order of n4T operations. This restricts JADE to moderate numbers of sources, a few tens rather than hundreds.
9.5Second-order methods: AMUSE and SOBI二阶方法:AMUSE 与 SOBI
The i.i.d. assumption of Assumption 1.1假设 1.1 discards the order of the samples. Many signals, from EEG rhythms to fMRI time courses, are correlated in time, and this structure can replace non-Gaussianity. Assume that the sources are zero-mean, wide-sense stationary, and mutually uncorrelated at every lag: E[si(t)sj(t+τ)]=0 for i=j and all τ. Write ρi(τ)=E[si(t)si(t+τ)] for the autocovariance of source i, with ρi(0)=1. The lagged covariance matrices of the data are then
They are symmetric in the model, but their estimates C^x(τ)=T−τ1∑tx(t)x(t+τ)⊤ are not, so one uses Cˉ(τ)=21(C^(τ)+C^(τ)⊤). Whitening with Cx(0)=AA⊤ gives Cˉz(τ)=A~diag(ρi(τ))A~⊤ for every lag: again the joint diagonalization structure. Only second-order statistics are involved, so neither non-Gaussianity nor full independence is required.
AMUSE. The AMUSE algorithm of Tong et al. (1990) uses a single lag: whiten, then take the eigenvectors of Cˉz(τ). By Lemma 9.2引理 9.2 with K=1, this separates the sources if and only if the numbers ρ1(τ),…,ρn(τ) are distinct; Tong et al. (1991) analyse the identifiability question in detail. Molgedey and Schuster (1994) proposed the same idea, formulated as the simultaneous diagonalization of Cx(0) and Cx(τ). The condition is fragile: two sources with equal or nearly equal autocorrelation at the chosen lag are mixed, or estimated poorly, however different they are at other lags.
This is SOBI, second-order blind identification (Belouchrani et al., 1997); TDSEP (Ziehe & Müller, 1998) is essentially the same method. Its identifiability condition follows directly from Lemma 9.2引理 9.2.
Theorem 9.6 (identifiability of SOBI)定理 9.6(SOBI 的可辨识性)
Let the sources be zero-mean, wide-sense stationary and mutually uncorrelated at all lags, with autocovariances ρi(τ), ρi(0)=1, and let z=A~s be the whitened data. If for every pair i=j there is a lag τk in the chosen set with ρi(τk)=ρj(τk), then every orthogonal U that diagonalizes all Cz(τ1),…,Cz(τK) satisfies UA~= signed permutation, so Uz recovers the sources up to sign and order. If some pair has ρi(τk)=ρj(τk) for all k, these matrices cannot separate sources i and j (Belouchrani et al., 1997).
若存在一对源,使得对所有 k 都有 ρi(τk)=ρj(τk),则这些矩阵无法分离源 i 与源 j(Belouchrani et al., 1997)。
Proof.证明
By (9.5) and whitening, Cz(τk)=A~diag(ρ1(τk),…,ρn(τk))A~⊤ with A~ orthogonal. Apply Lemma 9.2引理 9.2 with λki=ρi(τk), in both directions.
Two consequences stand out. Gaussian sources, any number of them, are separable as soon as their autocorrelation functions differ, which is the case whenever their normalized power spectra differ, since the spectrum and the autocovariance determine each other. And i.i.d. sources are never separable by SOBI, since ρi(τ)=0 for all τ=0 and every i. Second-order methods and the methods of Chapters 7, 8 and this chapter's first half are thus complementary: one needs temporal structure, the other non-Gaussianity.
The script below continues the previous one. It generates three Gaussian sources: an AR(1) process with coefficient 0.5, so ρ1(τ)=0.5τ; a moving average s2(t)=e(t)+e(t−1) of white noise, so ρ2(1)=0.5 and ρ2(τ)=0 for τ≥2; and an AR(1) process with coefficient −0.8. The first two have the same autocorrelation at lag 1 and differ at lag 2 (Figure 9.1图 9.1(a)).
AMUSE recovers the third source but leaves the first two mixed: in their plane its rotation is decided by sampling noise, so the leakage changes from run to run (over ten random seeds, its largest entry ranged from 0.05 to 0.86). SOBI separates all three, with leakage of at most 0.04 over the same ten seeds. JADE fails, as it must: all three sources are Gaussian and every fourth-order cumulant is zero up to sampling error.
Figure 9.1. (a) Autocorrelation functions of the three Gaussian sources of the example: ρ1(τ)=0.5τ, ρ2(1)=0.5 and ρ2(τ)=0 for τ≥2, ρ3(τ)=(−0.8)τ. Sources 1 and 2 agree at lag 1 (dotted line), so AMUSE with τ=1 cannot separate them, but they differ at lag 2, which SOBI exploits. (b) The criterion C of (9.2) for the five whitened lagged covariances of the example, as a function of the angle of a rotation in the (1,2) plane: a constant minus a sinusoid of period π/2, minimized at the closed-form angle θ⋆ of (9.3). The minimum is not zero because this rotation does not change the off-diagonal energy outside positions (1,2) and (2,1).
9.1 summarizes the methods of this chapter and, for reference, the iterative methods of Chapters 7 and 8. The two families rest on different assumptions, so the choice is mainly a question of which structure the data have: non-Gaussian marginals, temporal correlation, or both.

Noise affects the two families in parallel ways. Fourth-order cumulants of Gaussian noise vanish, so the cumulant matrices of x=As+n with Gaussian n independent of s are those of As; lagged covariances at τ=0 are unaffected by noise that is uncorrelated in time. In both cases only the whitening step, which uses Cx(0)=AA⊤+Cn, is biased by the noise; with more sensors than sources the bias can be reduced as described in Section 11.2第 11.2 节. The methods can also be combined, for example by jointly diagonalizing cumulant matrices and lagged covariances together, when the sources are both non-Gaussian and temporally structured.

After whitening, any statistic of the form A~ΛA~⊤ with distinct diagonal entries reveals A~ through its eigenvectors; jointly diagonalizing many such matrices removes the need for distinct eigenvalues in any single one.
The fourth-order cumulant tensor of whitened data is ∑pκpa~p⊗4, and every cumulant matrix is A~diag(κpa~p⊤Ma~p)A~⊤. FOBI uses M=I and needs distinct kurtoses; JADE uses all cumulant matrices and needs at most one zero kurtosis.
Jacobi sweeps minimize the off-diagonal energy one plane at a time with the closed-form angle θ⋆=41atan2(2g12,g11−g22); the criterion never increases, and a few sweeps suffice.
Lagged covariances satisfy Cx(τ)=Adiag(ρi(τ))A⊤. SOBI separates the sources if and only if every pair is distinguished by some lag in the set, so Gaussian sources with different spectra are separable and i.i.d. sources are not.
JADE costs grow as n4; SOBI is cheap. Cumulant methods and second-order methods rely on different structure and complement each other.
(a) Show that for two unit-variance Laplace sources Qz(I)=3I, and conclude that FOBI cannot separate them. (b) Why does FOBI succeed for one uniform and one Laplace source? (c) Does JADE separate two Laplace sources?
(a) Qz(I)=A~diag(3,3)A~⊤=3A~A~⊤=3I. Every orthogonal U gives U(3I)U⊤=3I, which is diagonal, so the matrix carries no information about the rotation (this is the converse part of Lemma 9.2引理 9.2). (b) Then Qz(I)=A~diag(−1.2,3)A~⊤ has distinct eigenvalues, and its unit eigenvectors are ± the columns of A~. (c) Yes. Both kurtoses are nonzero, so by Proposition 9.3命题 9.3 the maximizers of the JADE criterion are exactly the separating rotations. Concretely, Qz(a~1a~1⊤)=A~diag(3,0)A~⊤ distinguishes the two sources.
(a) Let s(t)=as(t−1)+e(t) with ∣a∣<1 and white noise e independent of the past of s, and let s be stationary. Show that ρ(τ)=aτ for τ≥0 (normalizing ρ(0)=1). (b) For two such sources with a1=0.5 and a2=−0.5, for which lags does AMUSE separate them? (c) What happens to SOBI when the sources are i.i.d.?
(a)设 s(t)=as(t−1)+e(t),∣a∣<1,白噪声 e 与 s 的过去独立,且 s 平稳。

(a) For τ≥1, multiply s(t+τ)=as(t+τ−1)+e(t+τ) by s(t) and take expectations; e(t+τ) is independent of s(t) and has zero mean, so ρ(τ)=aρ(τ−1), and with ρ(0)=1 this gives ρ(τ)=aτ. (b) ρ1(τ)=0.5τ and ρ2(τ)=(−0.5)τ are equal for even τ and opposite for odd τ. AMUSE separates the sources with any odd lag and fails with every even lag; SOBI with the lags {1,2} works because lag 1 distinguishes the pair. (c) For i.i.d. sources ρi(τ)=0 for every τ=0, so all lagged covariance matrices vanish in the model. Every rotation diagonalizes them, no pair is distinguished, and SOBI returns an arbitrary rotation of the whitened data.
Derive part (b) of Proposition 9.1命题 9.1 from the definition of the fourth-order cumulant, and deduce that E[∥z∥2zz⊤]=A~diag(κp+n+2)A~⊤. Check the trace of both sides for Gaussian data.
For whitened zero-mean z, cum(zi,zj,zk,zl)=E[zizjzkzl]−δijδkl−δikδjl−δilδjk. Multiplying by mkl and summing over k,l: ∑klmklE[zizjzkzl]=E[zizjz⊤Mz], ∑klmklδijδkl=δijtrM, ∑klmklδikδjl=mij and ∑klmklδilδjk=mji, which is (b). With M=I, E[∥z∥2zz⊤]=Qz(I)+(n+2)I=A~diag(κp)A~⊤+(n+2)A~A~⊤, as claimed. For Gaussian z∼N(0,I) all κp=0; the trace of the right side is n(n+2), and the left side has trace E∥z∥4=E[(χn2)2]=Var(χn2)+n2=2n+n2, in agreement.
(a) Show that for a single symmetric matrix (K=1) the angle (9.3) makes the rotated entry [Q′]pq zero and agrees with the classical rule tan2θ=2[Q]pq/([Q]pp−[Q]qq). (b) For general K, show that the part of C that depends on θ equals c0−c1cos(4(θ−θ⋆)) with c1≥0, which explains the shape of Figure 9.1图 9.1(b).
(a) Write h=(h1,h2)=ϱ(cosϕ,sinϕ) with ϱ=∥h∥>0. Then (h12−h22,2h1h2)=ϱ2(cos2ϕ,sin2ϕ), so (9.3) gives 4θ⋆≡2ϕ, that is, 2θ⋆≡ϕ(modπ) and v=(cos2θ⋆,sin2θ⋆)=±h/ϱ. This is tan2θ⋆=h2/h1=β/α, and β′=2[Q′]pq=h⊤v⊥=0 because v⊥=(−sin2θ⋆,cos2θ⋆) is orthogonal to h. (b) The θ-dependent part is 21∑r(∥hr∥2−(hr⊤v)2)=21trG−21v⊤Gv. Using the expansion of v⊤Gv in the text, this is 41(g11+g22)−21[21(g11−g22)cos4θ+g12sin4θ]=c0−c1cos(4θ−4θ⋆) with c0=41(g11+g22) and c1=2141(g11−g22)2+g122≥0, where 4θ⋆ is the angle of the vector (21(g11−g22),g12), as in (9.3). The rest of C does not depend on θ, so C(θ) is a constant minus a sinusoid of period π/2 with its minimum at θ⋆.
Let (λr,Mr), r=1,…,n(n+1)/2, be orthonormal eigenpairs of the self-adjoint map M↦Qz(M) on symmetric matrices, computed from exact or from sample cumulants (both are fully symmetric in their four indices). Prove that for every orthogonal U

and explain why, in the model, jointly diagonalizing n weighted eigenmatrices is equivalent to jointly diagonalizing all n2 cumulant matrices.

Let ui be the i-th row of U, as a column vector, and Bi=uiui⊤, a symmetric matrix. Then [UQklU⊤]ii=∑a,buiauibcum(za,zb,zk,zl)=∑a,bcum(zk,zl,za,zb)[Bi]ab=[Qz(Bi)]kl, using the symmetry of the cumulants in their indices. Hence ∑k,l[UQklU⊤]ii2=∥Qz(Bi)∥F2. Expanding Bi=∑r⟨Mr,Bi⟩Mr in the orthonormal eigenbasis gives Qz(Bi)=∑rλr⟨Mr,Bi⟩Mr, so ∥Qz(Bi)∥F2=∑rλr2⟨Mr,Bi⟩2. Finally ⟨Mr,Bi⟩=ui⊤Mrui=[UMrU⊤]ii; summing over i proves the identity. In the model, part (c) of Proposition 9.1命题 9.1 says that only n eigenvalues are nonzero, with eigenmatrices a~pa~p⊤, so the right side contains n terms and the two criteria coincide as functions of U. With sample cumulants the remaining eigenvalues are of the order of the sampling error, and discarding them is a small approximation that saves a factor of n in the size of the problem.
[UQklU⊤]ii=∑a,buiauibcum(za,zb,zk,zl)=∑a,bcum(zk,zl,za,zb)[Bi]ab=[Qz(Bi)]kl。 最后 ⟨Mr,Bi⟩=ui⊤Mrui=[UMrU⊤]ii;对 i 求和即证得恒等式。
